October 2005

I think Ii started on this in the spring and did a little here and there. These are really fun to make except for all the sanding. It is air-dried walnut with QS sycamore pulls and finished with lemon shellac. This was my first time padding on shellac and boy is this smooth, but I still need a lot of practice with shellac.

May 2005

This mirror was built for an American Cancer Society Relay For Life silent auction. My Mother passed away in 2002 from Multiple Myeloma cancer. I am a cancer survivor of 33 years (since age 3) of a Wilms' Tumor. The mirror is built out of air-dried walnut and finished with Waterlox original.

You can download a PDF of my design.
