Widescreen TV Stand
Our new Samsung DLP TV needed a stand, so I built this simple one.
This was my first time using plywood on a furniture project and it does speed things up a lot. The top is solid red oak.
I won't say how many times I cut the front skirt too short! Let's just say I have several scraps for a future project.
I used Varathane Early American stain. I finished the TV stand with three coats of super blonde shellac.

The open center box is for the center channel I'm going to build to match my
transmission line speakers
